Hoboken Parking Utility Online (HPU Online) Permit System

Welcome Hoboken Residents! This online system represents the City's on-going efforts to streamline governmental processes and provide 24/7 user-friendly access to municipal services. We will be continually making improvements and add more functionality to HPUOnline. While we are excited to make this new online system available to you, you may continue to handle HPU business in person by appointment at City Hall if you prefer. Please Note: Establishing accounts and submitting applications for various permits typically requires scanning/photos and uploading of documents as attachments, or they may be mailed in or submitted in person by appointment to HPU at City Hall. Most documents can be photographed with a mobile phone camera as long as the document is legible. Maximum document file size is 1MB. Permit placards provided through this service are printable but not required to be displayed due to the usage of LPR's (License Plate Readers). HPUOnline collects the standard permit fees, as well as a convenience fee of $2.00 for system costs recovery and any processing fees charged by credit card companies (typically in the range of 5%).
